Tommy Fury has admitted he’s lost his six pack and says having a ripped body ‘doesn’t mean anything’ after Molly-Mae Hague poked fun at his plump stomach.
The Love Island runner-up, 20, says he isn’t bothered about having chiseled abs now he’s in a long-term relationship with Molly – and insists he didn’t go on the ITV2 dating series to show off his physique.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, reality star and sportsman Tommy said: ‘I wouldn’t say I have a six pack anymore. I don’t care about having a six pack. It wasn’t important to me on Love Island either.’

Speaking of his boxer brother Tyson, Tommy continued: ‘Tyson doesn’t have a six pack but he’s the best heavyweight in the world, so it doesn’t mean anything.
‘I was in good shape on the show but at the end of the day Love Island wasn’t a body building contest. It was about finding a girlfriend and falling in love.
‘That’s why I went on the show and I saw it through, which is how I ended up with Molly. I only went on Love Island to find someone.’
Molly, 20, teased Tommy for his protruding ‘belly’ on Instagram as the pair holidayed together in the Maldives over New Year.

But the unfazed boxer said his appearance is the least of his concerns – and he doesn’t care about enhancing the way he looks like many of his former co-stars.
He said: ‘As long as I’m fit and I’m strong then I don’t care.
‘Love Island is definitely a great platform to express yourself but if you take away everything I have now and only left my family and Molly, I’d still be happy.
Bromance: Speaking in October, Tommy admitted that he’d ‘gained a few pounds’ since the villa that saw him form a close friendship with co-star Curtis Pritchard
‘I’m not interested in material things. If you go on the show and look for material things then you won’t enjoy it.’
Instagram star Molly told MailOnline that she predicted Tommy would pop the question during their Maldives getaway, saying: ‘I’m looking forward to having a rock on my finger.’
But Tommy has admitted he’s yet to plan a big proposal, though confirms Molly is most definitely The One.

He said: ‘I see myself marrying Molly, of course I do.
‘I see her as my life partner and I’m sure we will cross those bridges when it comes to it but I’ve no idea when.’
Tommy, who’s on a mission to cut-down his meat intake and eat more plant-based foods with the support of frozen food brand Strong Roots and its new meat-patch this January, said the only time he argues with Molly is when she leaves her PrettyLittleThing deliveries all over the flat they share together in Manchester.

He said: ‘It’s been my first time living away from home and it’s just easy.
‘But all I see when I come home are PrettyLittleThing bags. I’m not going to lie, I do shout at her ‘Put them in the spare room!’ They’re everywhere, all over the floor. I’m telling you.
‘The worst that I do is leave the wet towel on the floor when I get out the shower.’
