I ’ ve always wanted to try experimenting with different hair’s-breadth colours, but having a corporate job meant that it was reasonably impossible for me to dye my hair anything other than brown or aureate. My haircloth is besides slenderly damaged from all the bleach, dyeing and perming from over the years, so I ’ meter normally quite leery about trying any hair’s-breadth products that might further damage my hair. I was therefore, pretty concerned in trying out some of the semi-permanent color hair treatments that were popping up in the K-Beauty space that not only colour your hair for a short time period of time, but besides to nourish and treat it. I heard some good things about the Missha 7 Days Coloring Hair Treatment, so decided to pick up the ‘Pink Brown’ the last time I was in Seoul. I recently went on a 10-day holiday, so decided to try it out !
The Missha 7 Days Coloring Hair Treatment claims to create intense hair’s-breadth color in just 5 minutes, straightaway from the packaging – no mix is required. It purportedly offers an easy means to create an ombre consequence. The product besides claims that this color treatment will not damage your hair as it contains a highly digest phial to nourish your hair for a glistening and bright look .
Missha besides claims that the hair’s-breadth color whole shebang on both dark and ignite hair, although individual effects may vary :
Despite the product name, Missha states that the color can last between 3 – 10 days depending on the condition of your hair .
unfortunately, I was not able to find the complete list of ingredients, but key ingredients include :
- Camellia Oil
- Silk Amino Acid
Packaging / Volume
The product comes in a 25ml compressible pouch. Depending on your hair length and how much you want to colour, one tamp down is good for 1-3 uses ( barely close the lid after use to save the end for next time ). I only coloured the ends of my hair, and I reckon that I have about 2 more uses left .
How to Use
- After washing your hair, towel dry without using any other hair treatments
- Apply Colouring Hair Treatment to desired areas
- Leave on for 5 minutes, or 5-10 minutes for a more vivid colour, and then wash off with lukewarm water
- Dry your hair completely
Missha besides provided these extra tips to achieve a “ salon-grade, natural-looking ” ombre look :
- Section off where you want the gradation to stop by tieing the ends with elastic bands, and apply treatment evenly
- Use a wide-tooth comb to comb your hair after applying the treatment to achieve a more natural gradation
Some cautions for use :
- Make sure that you dry your hair completely after washing off the treatment, as the colour may transfer to clothing or bedding while your hair is still wet
- Colour may transfer after shampooing, so use a dark towel to avoid staining light-coloured towels
I found the intersection identical easy to use – the texture of the Treatment is exchangeable to conditioner, and I applied it directly to my hair’s-breadth using my hands. I ended up colouring my hands during the process but was able to wash it off finally. future fourth dimension, I may consider wearing gloves .
The first meter I tried it, I merely applied a thinly layer so the color didn ’ thyroxine show up very well after I rinsed it off. I consequently, had to do it again, and this time I made sure to apply a thick layer and left it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off. As I was only colouring the ends of my hair, I used about 1/3 of the product .
I was pretty glad with the results of my second go – I was truly impress with how well the tinge stood out, after merely leaving it on for 10 minutes ( see below for before and after pics ) !
Before After As I forgot to bring any shampoo for tinge hair’s-breadth during my trip, the color faded after about 5 days. But given the sum of fourth dimension and feat required to use this product, I would decidedly do it again !
The haircloth treatment besides did not damage my hair in any way – my hair is already quite dry from all the bleach and dye, but I did not notice any farther hair’s-breadth damage after using this product 🙂
overall, I am very happy with this hair treatment. The product is therefore commodious and easy to use and it offers a hassle-free and commitment-free manner to experiment with newfangled and different hair’s-breadth colours. It besides does not damage your hair ! Depending on your hair’s-breadth duration and how much of your hair you want to colour, you can besides get around 1-3 uses out of a individual compact, so I think it is pretty worth your money. I will decidedly purchase some other colours to play around with ! 🙂
I realise, however, that the hair color credibly showed up in truth well on my hair as I already have bleached hair, so I am unable to vouch for how well the merchandise works on dark hair. Please keep this in mind if you have darker hair and are thinking of trying out this intersection .
