  1. Rational Atheist says:

Can you do a review on Peter Thomas Roth aha bha products? They’re the STRONGEST over counter exfoliants I’ve seen over counter. The newest formula scared me with 49.9 percent I think.
Not many YouTubers review this brand but I’m impressed with the formulas of actives in each of his products.

  2. TA says:

Thanks for your info. I’m a guy and have some hyperpigmentation. Going through laser treatments now. Thanks for the info.

  3. Sam Weezer says:

So glad you made this video Dr. Dray! I hadn’t thought of the difference of how it would affect my skin (I’m of Mexican descent).

  4. Shamma B says:

My dermatologist recommended biodrma night peel which has 15% of glycolic acid and I’m worried to start, I’m a person of color (Indian) and my dermatologist is Indian as well, so I assume she knows well about our skin type, but I’m worried about it, what do you think about it?

  5. Tripti Shukla says:

she just make everyone fearful about normal things, out of no significant reason. Crazy advisor on skin care

  6. April Martin Chartrand, M.S. says:

This is very helpful. Thanks for including darker skin tone folks. We get left out of most beauty conversations and research. I burned by face from a product that caused instant hyperpigmentation, it was not designed for dark skinned folks but did not say that on the box. Thank you.

  7. Rosa Ctngb says:

Overall do you recommend glycolic acid? I have fair skin. The problem of my skin is I suffered acne for several years when I was young and left me with scars.

  8. Rishadha Kamil says:

I used glycolic acid with my doctor's recommendation but it caused even more damages to my face. For past 3 years i'm trying numerous techniques and used plenty of treatments to get rid of it. But nothing seems to work out. Can anybody please tell me what can I do now? Is it possible to get rid of this hyperpigmentation? I have them under my eyes and both sides of my chin. I have a dark and oily skin.

  9. Stacey W. says:

Would glycolic acid be a good replacement for mechanical exfoliators such as scrubs? I'm having an issue of sudden enlarged pores, and would like to try something less abrasive.

  10. Andre Noble says:

Congratulations Dr. Dray. I dropped/kicked out of medical school in my fourth year in the 90s. Went on to teach elementary school. I have a lot of respect for people who made it through.

  11. Monika Maurya says:

Can we use 2% glycolic acid facewash i.e. aha glow daily is i have deep dusky skin tone? If yes which spf sunscreen should i use it with

  12. Ayesha Sajjad says:

Umm I am almost 3 at fitxpick scale and I use mandelic acid 10 percent from ordinary
Is it fine or is it going to cause me problems

  13. The Coder says:

So I did laser hair reduction and after the 4th or 5th session, I started using the glycolic acid body wash by Susan Yara and I felt like it promoted hair to grow back that were reduced or being reduced. I am a 22 year old male and wanted to use the product basically to smooth the skin. I feel that it increased my hair or idk just reversed all the good the laser had done. I spoke to many people in this field and they said that was not the reason. My reasoning behind it was that since it absorbs deeper and quicker into the skin, maybe that caused the hair to be reactivated or something or maybe it's just removing the top layer of skin and showing all the hair that is growing faster than it normally would? Please help me out if you can with this problem…….

  14. Lifespan Wellness & Beauty - 60 is the New 40! says:

I use 20% glycolic acid pads and have never had a problem with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I've only experienced beautiful, smooth, and glowing skin. I just reviewed GRX 20 %Glycolic Acid pads and 5%Glycolic Acid Cleanser. I do follow up with Hyaluronic Acid after the pads, and yes, lots of sunblock when I go out.
